Immersible Ultrasonic Transducers
A full range of immersible ultrasonic transducers are also available for upgrades to existing tanks. These transducers are housed in 316L stainless steel with fillet-welded lap joints. The units are pressure-tested to ensure watertight integrity and long life. These can be powered by our Neptune™, SheildSONIK™, sweepSONIK™2D with dualSWEEP™ Technology or our multiSONIK™ and multiSONIK™2 generators.
Standard and custom models are available. Installation options include bulkhead, bottom, or rack mounting. Weld-in diaphragms are also available. Blackstone~NEY Ultrasonics' advanced design, lead-zirconite-titanate, piezoelectric transducers are bonded to the radiating diaphragm. Our unique transducer design reliably converts ultrasound at all of our available center frequencies. They are designed to have relatively flat impedance characteristics over the entire bandwidth so that all swept frequencies are efficiently delivered at full power to the liquid. All connections are crimped to ensure trouble-free operation.
